Since Slack exploded onto the scene like a toddler on crystal meth I've tried SO MANY! so-called "collaboration" or "project" apps, or whatever they call them, including things like Trello, Jira, Zendesk, Monday... the list is endless - I've worked with these both as a manager & team member & at this point my findings are as follows:

They fucking suck. Each & every single one.

The only tools that consistently work for this is email & phone + pen & pad.
