    @FediTips

    Is there a Canadian-based server with good reliability, or if not, an EU one?

    I’m really trying to avoid US based or US storage.

      @AlsoPaisleyCat

      https://bookrastinating.com is apparently hosted in Finland.

      https://ramblingreaders.org is hosted in Denmark (server), UK (email) and US (server monitoring).

        @FediTips I haven't been able to find any documentation showing what the interface looks like - important factor to decide if I'll join a server. Can anyone here link to like a tutorial video or screenshots?

          Here you go, I had an old test account which I've taken some screenshots from. I'll try to add these to the guide at some point.

            So ... as much as I hate that Amazon runs GoodReads, they have a specific section for authors to blog, engage with readers, and link their books. They have created a full-spectrum platform

            Bookwyrm caters only to the reader, and has no similar author features.

              Does BookWyrm allow you to enter multiple reading dates for books? Like of you read a book multiple times?

                Not as far as I can tell, it seems to just have one set of dates for each book.

                  These aren't deliberate design decisions by BookWyrm, they're doing what they can with the resources they have. It's made by volunteers who depend on donations from users.

                  You can still set up an account and engage with people, it just wouldn't be designated as a separate section?

                      @thechrisdantes @FediTips Yes you can - the button that says 'Read', click the dropdown arrow next to it then select 'Start Reading'.
                      Alternatively, you can manually enter more read dates on the book page under Your Reading Activity click 'Add read dates'.
