@FediTips No I mean person A quotes person B. They don't block or mute eachother. Person C blocks/mutes person B and still sees person A's post.

@FediTips Or in other words (I don't know if Thread posts are quotable, but):
* climatejustice.social blocks threads (& flipboard, bsky/bridgy, etc.)
* mastodon.social doesn't
* someone on mastodon.social quotes someone on threads or whatever
* we can't avoid seeing those quotes unless we block/mute mastodon.social -

@FediTips I don't know tbh. I am flitering all quotes since two days ago, so I didn't encounter this a lot.
