It's horrible and humanity shouldn't be giving free reign to this sort of activity. In better news, the likelihood that the company succeeds long term with active control of these things in our political climate is quite low. With that in mind, based on the most conservative statistics I could find, in 10 years 75% of those satellites will have burned up in atmosphere, and over 99% in 25 years. Those timelines could be much shorter.
