BTW if you have a region B Panasonic 4k UHD player there is a way around the region protection on criterion blu-ray disks.
1. insert the disk and wait for screen that tells you that this disc can't be played in this region.
2. Press stop and wait for the player's start menu to appear.
3. press the "top menu" button. this will bring you in to the disks start menu and you can now play the contents of the disk.This trick does not work with all region A blu-rays! it works with Criteion blu-rays (at least the ones i own) but it does not work with Kino Lorber blu-rays.

Remember there is no region coding on 4k-blu-rays.
