They're well known for jumping straight out of the water to catch birds in flight. Sir David captured this feat on video for one of his nature documentaries. Bird eats fish and vice versa.

I've watched Osprey come away with some very large fish in their talons in the Mercer Slough in Bellevue, WA.

An excellent capture by the way.
