Under pressure, the module could unzip and fail completely … “NASA has expressed concerns about the structural integrity of the PrK and the possibility of a catastrophic failure.”

Zvezda (and PrK) were built in the mid-80s, earmarked to be part of Mir-2. 50 year old space station modules with metal fatigue!
