I was also a bit surprised if this was indeed one of those errors as I think EU also has job protection and factual content and news as one of their recurring themes in other settings

Perhaps Europe should invest in its own sovereign AI capabilities. Because I think it's plausible that in the future, if the US and China have big advantages in AI compared to Europe, they might use those advantages against Europe.
