First, if you're in the "in group", things may actually get better, at least for a while. Sure, the in group gets smaller over time, but at you might be in it at the start.</p><p>Second, if you're the sort of person with a violent but fragile sense of identity who can't stand anything 'other', than fascism lets you hit out at minorities.
