I can sometimes still move the cursor but everything seems frozen. I've tried searching for this problem, but haven't been able to find a description that fits my bill. The problem seems to come out of the blue, then goes away for a while, then comes back. Any advice?

#LinuxMint

Reply to My Linux Mint laptop strangely goes black screen for a few seconds every few minutes. on Wed, 01 Apr 2026 17:27:32 GMT

@avlcharlie Nothing unusual there (should be inactive at least 15 minutes and it happens while I am being active).
