In queerer circles, I've occasionally been they/themmed by people who have seen a photo/ met me and have several context clues but haven't heard any preference expressed, and that's cool too.

Which means those don't really have any weight for me, so I don't really care what pronoun is used about me. (I do try to get them correct for others as people have alien cultural structures and it might matter to them, even though it has little to no meaning to me)

I'm perfectly fine with people who don't know my pronouns using they/them, but once they know I'd rather they used she/her. I resent feeling like I have to look like someone else's idea of what a woman should look like to be acknowledged as one, I should be the one who gets to define my gender even if I express that a bit differently than many other women
