Honestly I can't think of a better self-own than using the Golden Goose, the literal fairy tale version of wealth, as an illustration of actual wealth.

Investors are the most superstitious people in the world - it simply isn't possible to get them to acknowledge that it's just gambling, no matter how much data you show them. Believe me, I tried. Even advisors may recognize being wrong more often than a coin toss & then still just... keep going, as if it isn't a problem.
