These one ton buoys are now breaking loose due to the recent heavy rains in TX. They are floating down river threatening to damage bridges and dams and whole communities.

I don’t understand what this line of buoys was supposed to keep out. People can swim under them… idiots. Complete idiots.

So I'm guessing nobody checked to see that humans (and wildlife) weren't likely to get ensnared in that mesh and drowned? I mean, I know what MAGA's going to say to that, but do we know that the courts will agree that death is a valid punishment for attempted undocumented immigration? Bearing in mind that as cases rise up the hierarchy, they reach judges who aren't in Texas.

What a foolish waste: Trump and Greg Abbott 's "Flood-proof" $96 million "floating border wall" was already stupid, an affront to the natural landscape, an environment disaster waiting to happen. It's now a bunch of one-ton missiles aimed at bridges and homes downstream. The scale of the f***-up couldn't be more foreseeable.
