<![CDATA[Did people like the backrooms movie?]]>Did people like the backrooms movie? It seems to have good reviews but I kinda feel like it wasn't ambitious enough at being either "horror" or "weirdcore".

Like I just spent the whole thing wishing David Lynch had made it. He would have made it *weird*.

watched half of it, but my friend got bored from it. so we watched vivarium instead. it's also about a never-ending sameness (of detached houses, not backrooms), with maybe an antinatalist message, like lynch's eraserhead. my friend liked that a lot more.
