if we live in utopia, we fight. by not fighting, we let malice creep in and destroy it

and there's many ways of fighting. voting is just a small easy thing to do, even if just from a vandalism/ sabotage tactic point of view

the only way we ever truly lose, is when we stop fighting

and that's all not voting is: cynicism. acceptance

the vote is suppressed and warped, but it still matters. not voting would mean MAGA wins more, and warp and suppress the vote even more

so when you don't vote, you only reward your enemy

even if you've completely given up on voting and dream of revolution, the revolutionary leaders will say to you "oh btw, we're doing all these things, but also, vote" because it's simply a good sabotage/ vandalism tactic. so you always vote

i understand the sentiment but

1. there is no such thing as ideological purity in revolution. so after oceans of blood what comes out on the other side could be about the same

2. MAGA could win. so much worse

3. and even if through much suffering what is good and just prevails, then what happens? we vote again. we deal with these same entitled losers again going "eh, not perfect enough for me" and via their nonvoting toxicity we slide back towards MAGA again

so we just have to #vote

And so, Tennessee joins the club of states I do not allow one cent of my money to go to, (if I can help it), with Texas and Florida.

I know there are a whole lot of good people in those states, but the ones in power need to feel the squeeze.

I'm looking at you too, Utah.

And the more hard-core the right gets, the more of their own voters get turned off.

I have faint, but persistent, hope that at least some of this redistricting will backfire as voters of all types get more angry with the status quo.
