I doubt that so much of their infrastructure is made of tofu that they're worse off than our aging petrochemical guzzling logistics backbone

Would be neat if our debt crisis wasn't being made unnecessarily worse while the petrodollar gets further undermined by Iran trading in yuan... Maybe the inflation will save us 😂

People lose trust in science when it winds up saying whatever industry has paid it to say. Academia is also seriously toxic in many places. I'm a big fan of science, but it's easy to see where the trust was lost.

Science is people. It's what they do, it's who they are.

It's time to admit the USA is dead, for every reason it was once alive and great. Science will continue because you can't imprison a mind. But this system, whatever it was, whatever it stood for, it won't go back when we say so.
