I've seen the "secure facility." It's a chain link fence and a guy named Gary.</p><p>Night shift is usually 10-20 people. Two hundred people could shut a datacenter down with nothing but a Wikipedia article on fiber optics and some enthusiasm. Start swinging and you’ll hit something valuable pretty fast. </p><p>The "secure cages"? Chain link. The lobby's got badges and mancatchers and a guard who checks your ID like it insulted him. Out back it's a sliding metal door, propped open with a folding chair by whoever's waiting on FedEx.</p><p>It's not a fortress. Basically the only thing they add to your description is more doors that require keycard access, and it least one that scans your eyeballs.</p><p>The last one I was in required keycard access to get into the snack/break room for some reason. Stick them inside a robot body and they'll need either a constantly active high bandwidth low latency data connection to data centers (which I guess means overwhelming the cellular networks which would leave them intermittently failing as the networks struggled even to keep up) or run locally very very slowly and a battery life of 2 minutes.  And then they'll mistake a picture on a wall for being a human and attack said wall for the 0.1 minutes they have left.</p><p>However, I could see some complete idiot putting one in charge of missiles or something and it triggers something when they told it to trigger something but don't actually.
