I believe Sheeran when he says he is trying to "remain non-apolitical" or whatever.

I just hope that he - and by extension a lot of his many fans & other people - will learn from this what a horrible & untenable position "neutrality" is in the face of atrocity.

As Macklemore said, there's no middle ground here.

I should also repeat my stated belief, that centrists will get us all killed.

My statement should not be taken to mean that I think Sheeran is all fine & dandy.

He supported Ukraine several times. He's not apolitical, he just lacked a backbone and a moral compass when it came to genocide.
