Just came home from this awesome city marathon 🀩. It was an excellent raceπŸ’―πŸ₯³. Lovely route, perfect race org, nice t shirt + medal etc. Best weather I could have wished for. I optimistically decided to follow the 3H balloons … but after the first half marathon I was out of power. Perhaps I wasn’t supposed to believe I could pull this off so close to the 100 miler and also otherwise lack of real recoveryπŸ™ƒπŸ«£. Ah well: still happy proud 🀠

The marathon course was the half marathon route twice (ish). There was some difference but I was perhaps also not fully aware πŸ˜‚

It’s a wonderful route. And the organization was lovely frictionless πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ€ . Highly recommended. There were a lot of toilet queues… but it turns out there are plenty of toilets at the stadium outside … so most queues inside was strictly not necessary.

Lovely race venue and expo to go and buy stuff at πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
