And it really helps you to discover new people to follow.

The good news is that ActivityPub supports this out of the box; it's what we expected people to implement. So, it's possible to have a Mastodon fork or another platform implement this.

I am familiar with this discussion and am in the "Alice's followers only" group. This was the OP's intent to start and means a consistent audience rather than a conversation that fades in and out.

I am not a fan of multiple options as this increases click counts for everything.
