I've said this before: They️ can have their obscene power & wealth taken away relatively peacefully now, or violently later.

History is very clear that a reasonably fair society is what we invented to replace dragging the rich out into the street & beating them to death every couple of generations.

I'm also pretty sure the last thought every single one of them had was "This is impossible, I'm too powerful to die!".
