Nagori is savouring what you know to be ending.

It's dancing to the final song at a wedding. It's waking up in your childhood bed for the last time before heading to college. It's looking at the mess of wraping paper the children left Christmas morning before going to the kitchen for breakfast.

I never realized it before but my joy at seeing the thunderstorms that mark the end of the summer where I live is Nagori. The night temperatures cause the need for a light jacket. Things change and some anxious trees put a pop of fall color into their canopy at this time too. It's the final days of summer and I love this time, and the memory of what summer was for the year.

May you have a lovely experience with nagori as well. Savor the changes in your life and enjoy the moments before they end.

Though it probably originated from "das Lehen", which is an old word for a loan, so the same as your loan word.

I wonder why words taken from other languages are called "loan words"?
It's not like we're going to give them back.
