It adds an earthy, tart fruitiness to my: oatmeal, smoothies, ice cream, yogurt. I need to think of other uses for it. Mine’s from Iceland; but crowberries grow in the wild in Alaska & Labrador, too. It makes me smile when I think about trying to sneak it into as many things as I can find, like I’m magically adding some “Iceland” to whatever I’m eating. Crowberry is an arctic superfood with exceptional antioxidant properties. #crowberry

Reply to I’ve been sprinkling crowberry powder on everything lately. on Wed, 01 Jul 2026 15:49:47 GMT

@SharonCrockett ooh, thank you!!

tanyakaroli@expressional.social

Reply to I’ve been sprinkling crowberry powder on everything lately. on Wed, 01 Jul 2026 15:19:27 GMT

@samerfarha I'll skip the flame thrower, but will be trying the trick with the Trader Joe's treats!

sharoncrockett@toot.community

Reply to I’ve been sprinkling crowberry powder on everything lately. on Wed, 01 Jul 2026 15:17:53 GMT

@SharonCrockett I keep a flame thrower, err, food torch in the kitchen so I can just hit the top of a chocolate bar or store bought brownies with enough heat to make them sticky and then sprinkle salt on them.
