German poet, Heinrich Heine, said back in the early 1800s, "Where one burns books, one will soon burn people." They burned books written by Jewish, half-Jewish, communist, socialist, anarchist, liberal, pacifist, lgbtq and sexologist authors. The first books burned were those of Karl Marx and Karl Kautsky.
