Reviews on Amazon are almost universally positive, but the product pictures are a little misleading, as they show two ceramic palettes. It's just that the bottom is also glazed and can be used, having 4 mixing wells. I chose the version with 6 small + 2 large wells on top. I will not store paints in it. #artsupplies

https://bowerbirdart.com/product/bower-bird-travel-ceramic-watercolor-palette-with-porcelain-mixing-tray-metal-tin-box-portable-art-kit-for-gouache-studio-outdoor-painting-8well/

Reply to After looking around at all the options I could find, I ordered a Bower Bird mini ceramic #travel #watercolor mixing #palette. on Tue, 30 Jun 2026 07:26:55 GMT

Both versions of the Field Brush Box are long-since discontinued, and Winsor & Newton don't make anything like them, any longer.

Here it is, closed, inside the Sistema Bake It box I use for travel art supplies:

gcvsa@mstdn.plus

Reply to After looking around at all the options I could find, I ordered a Bower Bird mini ceramic #travel #watercolor mixing #palette. on Tue, 30 Jun 2026 07:24:41 GMT

This is a photograph of my vintage Winsor & Newton Series 7 Field Brush Box.
