Look, even before AI, digital automation - especially across systems - was already a fucking quagmire in terms of user experience, security, privacy & even functionality & legality.

Current decisions by far too many corpos & organisations which should know better, to slather entirely unpredictable, uncontrollable, poorly understood & poorly implemented agents on top of that are a level of mismanagement which should be & quite possibly is punishable by law.
