Yea, and tho I prefer the numbers, I really like how the analog dials visually show the progression as a cycle, rather than "well you see this one resets to 00 after 59, but this one resets to either 00 after 23, or 01 after 12, flipping the morning/evening indicator one increment earlier"

The nurse said that's a standard test they give after you pass a certain age.

Mechanical most of the time., quartz it's a replace the timing module. Digital, forget it, unrepairable, fault is usually under that blob of tar on the PCB.

It continues to be my preferred way of telling time. (I have a watch that has dots on the number positions; I lift the crystal to read it.
