Young Anne Hathaway goes to high school and finds out she is the princess of Genovia and heir to the throne, but she is not sure she wants to assume that role. Much hilarity follows, and some serious stuff.

Highly formularic, this coming-of-age story was surprisingly entertaining, had some good laughs and a strong message, and AH, Julie Andrews, and Hector Elizondo were all good.

My daughter found it very boring.

It's in the fridge not, settling in just in time for breakfast tomorrow. I've got a good feeling about this! (And we still have a ton of berries on the bush, ripe for picking.)

Itโ€™s a game (think escape room) where you walk around the WWI defense facility and identify a spy through puzzle-solving. It was windy and cold, but it was great fun - and the facility was an interesting place to spend a couple of hours.

It was very nice.

It had been completely overtaken by plants and stuff, but now it's back to what it should be, and she can get her morning coffee in the sun again.

Edit: as a surprise for my wife, I also put on strings of small lights so the bench on the terrasse glows in the dark. Everyone is happy with this little touch of grace. I just added a picture of it in glowy night-mode.

There was a solid crowd in their village and the atmosphere was very good. In the blink of an eye the riders had passed, and after a cold drink with my brother and his family we soon went home again.
