He was always a malignant narcissist. Now his dementia is progressing. We should begin to take note.

As a psychiatrist I see 3 different aspects here:1) Trump has a severe personality disorder of the Cluster B type. Malignant narcissism, emotionally unstable, histrionic and antisocial behavior. This is beyond doubt. He has always been this way and has not had anyone to hinder it’s flow. And it is now being further enhanced by 3.

2) Trump is either a pathological liar ( beyond a doubt) OR he is suffering from what is called a monothematic delusion concerning the 2020 election. If he truly believe he won it must be a delusion and therefore he is psychotic by default.3) He shows certain signs of progressing frontotemporal dementia. And this will further exacerbate 1). This I am not so certain is manifest. YET. He makes mistakes but kan still mostly speak. The sleeping disorder is a sign though

@SuneAuken The funny thing is that when symptoms are this pronounced it doesn’t require much to diagnose. If eg a person talks of microphones inserted in the brain by aliens of course anyone can diagnose af psychosis.
The Trump case is like someone with an open leg fracture, it doesn’t require a medical degree to diagnose that the leg is broken. -
