I understand that skepticism. I've always appreciatee many of its benefits.
BUT when technology is -forced- on people -- particulary when it's complex and potentially dangerous -- then skepticism is replaced by suspicion.

The information-literacy framing here is important. Especially as AI gets folded into everyday tools by default.
