<![CDATA[To me, #Mastodon is by far the best social medium.]]>To me, is by far the best social medium. But even the best can always get better. Here are four features, I would love to see:

1. Sharing more than 4 photos in a post.
2. Fast way to accept alttexts suggested by others.
3. Formalised way to append factual information to disinformation posts.
4. The ability to share longer, formatted texts.
5. A standardised way to display a user's country of residence for those who wish to do so.

What would you like to see?

1. Already possible for other platforms (Pleroma, Misskey etc)
2. What should this look like? You post without Alt, others commenting with Alt in message, you apply it to your posted photo? For me would be better to include auto-alter for client.
3. You can comment the post, or report it to your admin, which can manage this user for your instance.

5. You can set it in your profile description. Make it easy to create a politics feed that excludes the US, or only view posts about US politics from people I follow, or only from mutuals.

1) That’s a server setting, different server, different configurations.
2) I like this, but I pretty much always write my own, but one can edit the original post and credit the user that suggested it.
3) Good idea.
4) Like linking to a blog post?
