even if you consider f-droid an not alternative to (what i presume is) google play, you still can take its fruits and appreciate that you still have options

The list of apps is based on download numbers of the past year, so it doesn't change all that quickly.

Having numbers that include mirrors would be great to have.

I am missing the "Permissions" section of an app's page. Is it really removed, or will it be added back gradually in a future release?

Which is great, but where does this info come from? Is it compatible with the publicly available download statistic standard (https://codeberg.org/IzzyOnDroid/iod-stats-builder) so users who use multiple repositories can have proper combined statistics for the most reliable and complete image of what is popular? I remember actively reaching out about this but not getting any response, would be a shame if this was done in an incompatible way 😞

I managed to update from 1.2 to 2.0 by allowing beta update. Turning beta update off, makes this message appear.

f-droid is not an alternative, it's even more restricted than the fucking play store and if anyone has a real alternative I'd love to hear about it

The only thing missing, at least for me, is the option to click on a category and see all the apps from that category, without having to choose one subcategory each time.
But that's a personal thing, I can always navigate each subcategory separately.
Anyway, great update, everything looks and works better.
