A four-panel comic strip titled " by DT_COMIC satirizes social media influencers. In the 1st panel, an elderly grandmother tells a young man at a computer, "I'm sorry Jimmy, I just don't think I really understand what it is that you 'Influencers' do." In the 2nd panel, Jimmy explains, "Well Gran, think of it like this: I've created a communal village and I tell lies about what my life is like there to attract other people to join in and follow me. Then I trick them into spending money on things I tell them are good for them."
