I look out the window, or check our own cheap weather station or go to www.met.ie

I hate desktop / toolbar space being taken with weather apps on Windows, Linux or Android.

There is a weather widget in the Linux toolbar/places Clock widget that takes location and displays temp & wind. I don't use it.
On Win10 it was horrible getting rid of all the widgety gunge in the taskbar.

So that might be something where Microsoft has an advantage. Like, I wouldn't rely on this if I were worried that my tomatoes might freeze overnight.

For instance, on my GNU Guix machine running GNOME, the default weather app just takes around 64MB of ram 😎.

But then features like Suggestion for your day, Maps, 3D maps are not available in most of the weather apps on the other side.

And frankly i like the Unix approach here 😉
