1. Sign into your account on your server's website
2. Click on your account name to go to your profile page (if you're on mobile click ☰ in bottom right, then click your name)
3. Click "Edit Profile"
4. Click the 📷️ camera icon on picture or banner, then "Edit alt text"
5. Type alt text, then click "Done" on alt text window
6. Click "Done" at top of profile

You need to log into your server's website to do this. Don't use the app.

Once you've done this in the website, you can go back to using the app.

Didn't work for me, using Moshidon.
When I click on the camera icon it just brings up my gallery photos. There are no other options 😕
