My guess is that the frozen Transnistria conflict will remain frozen and Moldova will join with Transnistria remaining under occupation.

I'm more curious how the present war/occupation situation in Ukraine is going to fit in with EU's defense framework. I doubt that Ukraine will be allowed to claim a collective defense case for Putin's ongoing invasion. An approach that might work might be to exclude part of Ukraine from EU military

Moldova should remain a fully independent and non EU nation. Absorbing them into the EU will do harm to everyday Moldovan persons and culture. It will increase tensions drastically in the area and provoke intervention on their soil. We should offer them protection and ally-ship but not schengen or eu status.

I am a Texan from america so when I say we i mean the global west not EU or USA specifically.

Even just statistically, unanimous agreements are always less probable as the set of voters increases. One stubborn participant and we're paralyzed.
