It does mean I have to rewind a bit, but I've found that non-troublesome. YMMV.

The things that shut off the tv automatically wake me up. Maybe it needs some experimentation, like fade the brightness, lower the sound, eventually you can shut it off - but when a sound disappears for me suddenly, even like someone turning off the fan, I wake up
