Palantir's founders Alex Karp (CEO) and Peter Thiel (chairman) are fascists, and the Palantir Manifesto reflects that:

They are evil. The world order they strive for is something akin to Russia, where fascist oligarchs rule with impunity.

Oh right, the American right does not consider the Nazis necessarily the bad guys anymore, isn't it so? And the Peter Thiel faction.

Indeed, it can be a downside.

But it's a lesson from the 1930s, so at least IMV, it's worth keeping.

And Lower-Saxony, for example. purposefully decided against Palantir, and when the latter published their tech fascistic manifesto, Lower-Saxony's official response to the press was something along the lines of "we feel vindicated to have rejected Palantir".

Many "Bundesländer", however, either use already Palantir, or are about to acquire/use it.
