If you say "They'll fix this" you're missing the point: Since ChatGPT went live, vendors have been building a gargantuan Jenga tower of ad-hoc guardrails & internal prompts, trying to quell this tech's structural tsunami of flaws & insecurities.

Which is about as likely to work as stopping an actual tsunami with a colander.

@pluralistic is right that this is normal tech; IT was already flawed & insecure - AI is just making it orders of magnitude worse. By design.
