I have a computer that is on 24.04.5 .

Shouldn't I be able to upgrade to 26.04.1 LTS? I thought after the first point release of the next LTS โ€ždo-release-upgradeโ€œ would do that?

But when I do that I get โ€žThere is no development[???] version of an LTS available.โ€œ

You have multiple options with "do-release-upgrade -d" depending on what the option "Prompt" in /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades is set to

If "Prompt" is set to "normal" - you will be upgraded to the next "normal" version, which is 26.10 "Stonking Stingray" currently in development (so I wouldn't use that option right now, but once 26.10 is released, you can get it immediately this way)

If "Prompt" is set to "lts" you should be upgraded to the next LTS, which is 26.04.1 LTS (Resolute Racoon)
