I've been around the kind of people whose mindset is represented by Fender's recent actions, including Cole's idiotic speech the other day & I can tell you: They were never going to back down peacefully.

The only thing that will stop them is a sufficiently large lawsuit & Thomann is one of a few companies able to punch in that weight class.
