I'd always assumed that vandalism was a result of nihilism brought on by frustration. I would have expected vandals to need to BREAK something, not just punch it.

There are quite a few bus stops next to playgrounds and exercise stations in Seoul, South Korea, and I lost count of the number of buses we missed because we failed to corral the kids and ourselves back to the stop in time when the bus did come.
