No, it's not. It is about disputing many historians, population specialists, genocide forensic scientists.

Suspect that we're on the cusp of 'rewriting history to serve ideology' being turbocharged by AI.

We may even end up without a decent grasp on the present.

It ignores the real experience of those who may have fought to change things. Of those who lived when things were different (better or worse). It removes any real consideration of "could it be different".

I think it is very clearly shown in the support for Capitalism: "We have always had this and it works, so don't challenge it".

Another explanation is that we don't talk about things enough because we want to focus on how much better everything is now.

The funny thing is, denialism is largely unnecessary. You can leave the Truth out in plain sight and people with colonized minds will still not see it, too distracted by bread and circuses ( Domino’s & NFL ).

I think often people don't know what to do with the emotional reaction

It's easy (for many) with the Nazis, you feel outrage - but ultimately justified in "your" part in WW2 and tell yourself a simple story of right Vs wrong

It is a despicable practice that simply leads to more killing.

That, to me, is beyond contempt.
