We must treat energy as it is: a precious resource to not squander.

I am deeply concerned about the rise of these hyper scale data centres. We need to electrify our heating, cooling, and mass transit but instead we're building mass data centres and powering them with natural gas. 🤦

Eg, here in , we are looking at adding natural gas power plants that would generate enough electricity to power 15 more Calgaries (our largest city).

I see that as inevitable. However, civilizational collapse does not have to mean an entire environmental collapse. We must be good ancestors and seek to leave as much good soil, water, air as we can for those who must come after us.
