I am helped by nicotine patches though at this point I am probably a bit addicted. But I do have cognitive difficulties since covid. Most drugs are meant to improve a problem, not improve functioning of healthy people. At first I used it 24/7 with no noticeable impact on sleep or blood pressure. Now I do use less at night. I'm not sure if the positive impact has worn off a bit but I am now rarely in bed all day and this used to be a regular occurance.
