This is not only about application (far more complex by itself than the purity thing, including security issues, future maintenance, brain damage...), but about data center impact, community damage, environmental damage (from carbon footprint to rare elements to local community harm), technooligarchy support, (main) use in military and surveillance, and contribution to likely the next big economical crash.
