I've addressed the situation with the accounts, updated/clarified rules, announced the changes, and clarified expectations of moderators. I am not going to engage any further in this. I am perfectly happy with being blocked, and to some extent, I hope that happens, and I understand that may make some people leave, and I understand that too.

And history being a judge, they don't seem to be the sorts of instance moderators that will back down once they've decided to pass judgement. welshpixie will pick a set of posts where they disagree with the moderation decisions of another instance, and use that as a reason to start another fediblock callout.

This seems to happen every month or so with another instance. I kinda stopped paying attention.

Let's suppose I cite a very despicable person, enlisting all the reasons for which they should be disliked. Will it become "hate speech"? Or it won't, simply because my words are shared by "the good ones"?

All of this is just a reflection on how we can stay rational, respectful, but still express disapproval, or strong opinions.
