the producers’ brilliance was to let the white-on-white violence roll whilst smacking down the neocolonialism of late-stage capitalism INSIDE ENGLAND and against it’s white people. .

this is one instance that as a WOC, am not bothered by the casting.

Once they removed him, the show is more balanced allowing a more diverse pool of good and bad ‘guys.’ And, yes, the humor is very tongue in cheek.
