It's easy to think this would be great; who doesn't want total, searchable recall?

But the reality is, nobody does. If we had it but weren't pushed to use it, 99.99999etc. never would & only a similarly miniscule fraction of the ones who did would actually get anything valuable out of it.

It simply isn't how a sapient awareness works. Even though it often doesn't feel that way, the embodied mind lives in the world, not in an inadequate summary of it.
