If you have belief for which there's no evidence, but if it's true it requires *everybody*, not just you, to change their behavior, you have 3 choices: Give it up, find the evidence, or plow ahead & demand people change per your belief regardless of whether they agree or not.

Only assholes choose the third option & that's how you get these groups.
